NUTHUT, a Scandinavian healthy and natural snack company based in Denmark, approached Lidenbrock to help them create their brand DNA and visual expression from scratch. With our experienced team and business-focused approach, we wanted to create a concept and tell a story that stood out from the crowd. This was the perfect focus for defining a consistent purpose and a strong visual and verbal statement.
Nut Hut’s brand identity draws inspiration from Idun, the Norse goddess who embodies youth and renewal. Her spirit of timeless vitality and rejuvenation mirrors the brand’s own essence — rooted in natural energy, balance, and constant freshness. This mythological foundation is expressed through a minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic, blending purity and modernity in every visual element. The result is a brand that carries a sense of calm strength and renewal — a contemporary reflection of mythic endurance and natural harmony.
First, We began by uncovering who they truly spoke to: a new generation that treats healthy living as a lifestyle, values balance over restriction, and strives to stay young, active, and aware. Our challenge was to craft a brand that mirrors them — fresh in energy yet grounded in experience. Through deep research, we shaped Nut Hut’s strategy around this duality: a brand that feels modern and rejuvenating, while carrying the quiet wisdom of Scandinavian simplicity. Identity that speaks to both body and mind — youthful in spirit, but timeless in presence.
During the audience-definition phase, we drew inspiration from Scandinavian culture and traditional Viking ornamentation, reinterpreting these elements through a modern and energetic lens. This allowed the brand to resonate with a new generation — one that embraces healthy living, natural choices, and mindful balance.We translated the strength and vitality that once defined the Vikings into today’s world through Nut Hut’s natural and wholesome snacks, turning ancestral endurance into a modern lifestyle expression.
With contemporary Nordic motifs, refined typography, and vibrant tones, we created a brand identity that bridges the power of heritage with the freshness of modern wellbeing. The result is a brand that feels rooted yet alive — timeless in form, and full of life in spirit.
The new identity and packaging system significantly enhanced the brand’s visibility on shelves and improved perception across digital channels. In the post-launch phase, both engagement and sales metrics showed a noticeable increase, while brand recall and lifestyle association strengthened remarkably.
